01 / Fireboy
Let Fireboy cross orange lava while Watergirl takes her own path. Blue water stops him, so a route that looks easy for his partner may need a different approach.
02 / Watergirl
Watergirl crosses blue water safely and must avoid orange lava. Use that difference to reach places Fireboy cannot, then coordinate the switches and lifts that move the pair forward.
03 / Together
Reaching your own door is only half the job. Collect every ring-marked diamond, then place Fireboy inside the orange exit and Watergirl inside the blue exit at the same time.

YOUR FIRST FEW MINUTES
Select Same device to share a keyboard or touch screen. For separate devices, choose Play online, pick a hero and create a room. Share the invite link; your teammate opens it and selects Join room. Keep both devices connected.
Open Campaigns, choose a temple and select an available jewel on its map. Complete connected rooms and required tutorials to unlock more levels. Check Level help for the room’s switches, lifts and other puzzle mechanics.
Collect every ring-marked diamond, then get Fireboy inside the orange exit and Watergirl inside the blue exit at the same time. Unmarked diamonds are optional; collect them all for a perfect clear.
GET A FEEL FOR IT
Find your keys, adjust your setup, and get comfortable before you start.
A SMALL HEAD START
Fireboy can enter orange lava; Watergirl can enter blue water. The other element is unsafe for each hero, and purple toxic goo is dangerous to both. Plan a separate safe route for each character.
A held Jump button does not repeat the jump. Land, release it and press again. Neither hero can jump from ice: reach dry ground first. Fireboy slides quickly on ice, while Watergirl moves slowly.
Keep the room creator’s tab open and visible. A lost connection pauses the room; rejoining in the same browser session can reclaim the seat. If the game reports different versions, both players should refresh and create a new room.

Yes, AppsOverFlow’s Fireboy & Watergirl supports online co-op from two devices. Choose Play online, create a room and share its invite link or six-character code. Each device controls one hero; both devices need an active internet connection.
Fireboy & Watergirl progress does not automatically appear on another device. Completed levels, personal bests and sound settings stay in the current browser. Clearing this site’s browser data removes them.
Every ring-marked diamond must be collected, and both heroes must be inside their own doors at the same time. Fireboy uses the orange exit; Watergirl uses the blue exit. Touching a door frame or entering the other hero’s door does not count.
Yes, one person can control both heroes in Same device mode. Use both keyboard layouts or switch heroes with the touch controls. Both heroes still need to reach their matching exits.
Yes, this adaptation is free to play in a modern browser without installing an app or creating an account. An internet connection is needed to load the game; online co-op also needs a connection throughout play.
