Metal Slug Arcade is AppsOverFlow’s independent browser player for computers, phones and tablets. It brings adjustable controls and local two-device play to six classic titles, with 34 main missions across the collection.
AppsOverFlow developed the independent web player and its controls. Metal Slug, the original games and their artwork belong to SNK and their respective rights holders. No endorsement or affiliation is implied.

02 / Touch
On a phone, tablet or iPad, set button size and opacity around your grip. Try landscape to give the action more space, then save the layout that feels comfortable.
03 / Two players
For local two-player play, connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi or hotspot. The host shares an invite, Player 2 creates a reply, and the host pastes it back. Keep both windows open.

Use keyboard or touch controls for solo play, or connect two devices on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot. The original games and artwork belong to SNK and their respective rights holders.
YOUR FIRST FEW MINUTES
Select a title and choose Play Solo. Wait for its download to finish, then press Enter or A / FIRE when the button reads START. Use FIRE to confirm a character if the game asks.
Open Options & Controls. On desktop, choose a keyboard preset or rebind individual keys. On touch devices, set button size and opacity, arrange the controls and save the layout for the orientation you are using.
Move through each mission, rescue prisoners and reach its boss. Jump toward an available Slug to enter it. Press the SLUG shortcut or hold Down and press Jump to exit. Weapon and vehicle rules determine how you can aim.

A SMALL HEAD START
The first game introduces movement, jumping and firing across six missions. Try Metal Slug 3 when you want branching routes; its alternate paths are included within its five main missions.
Choose Original proportions if Full width makes characters look stretched. Reduce touch-button size or opacity if controls hide the action. Save portrait and landscape layouts separately, keeping FIRE, JUMP and Pause easy to reach.
Open the site and start the title online so its required files can cache. Then test that title without a connection. Visiting the library or installing the app does not download all six games, and browser cleanup can remove cached files.
ANSWERS, WITHOUT THE DETOUR
The player provides adjustable touch controls for phones and tablets, including iPad. Desktop players can use a keyboard or optional mouse controls. Let the first download finish and keep gameplay in the foreground; performance depends on your device and browser.
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi or hotspot. Choose Host Two Players on one device. On the second, choose Join as Player 2, paste the invite and create a reply; the host pastes that reply to connect. Keep both windows open. Codes expire after five minutes, and network isolation can block pairing. Bluetooth and public matchmaking are not supported.
Yes. Automatic continues is on by default; you can turn it off in Options & Controls. Enter or A / FIRE when it shows CONTINUE supplies a free credit manually. Each player sets this preference on their own device. Continues do not provide unlimited grenades or invulnerability.
In a supported solo game, pause and choose Save State. Reopen the same title in the same browser and device, then choose Load State. Clearing site data can remove saves, and game updates can affect compatibility. Save states are unavailable in multiplayer and currently disabled for Metal Slug 4.
